Recommendation For Towing Fifth Wheel Trailer With 2016 Chevrolet Silverado With Short Bed

I have a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado K2500HD short bed crew cab PU, how do you adjust the 12inch fore/Aft so on a sharp turn so I dont hit the cab?

Unless your trailer is designed with a nose that can be used with short bed trucks you will have issues using a fixed fifth wheel trailer hitch and executing sharp turns.

I recommend replacing the king pin on your trailer with a Sidewinder pin box. I have attached a link to our product page on our website with the Sidewinders listed you can check out.

You can then use a fixed fifth wheel like part # C16530-16025 with the factory puck system in your truck bed.
