2 inch Hitch Ball, Ball Mount and Wiring Recommendation for a 2008 Hyundai Sonata
Question:
I have a 2008 Hyundai Sonata with a class I hitch. I need to tow a homemade trailer weighing 1200 lbs. and a 2inch coupler. Can I safely tow this trailer with a 1 and 1/4inch to 2inch adapter from hitch to ball?

Anytime you use a hitch adapter you end up cutting the capacity of the hitch by 50 percent. Because of that I tend to avoid recommending them as an ideal solution.
Since your trailer has 2 inch hitch ball coupler you would want the # 3592 for a ball mount and then for a 2 inch ball # 19258.
For trailer wiring you would then want the part # 118433 which I attached an install video for as well.
