Can You Reverse a Trailer with Fastway Weight Distribution System Installed

Question:

Can you turn the trailer while backing into a camp site without unhitching the bars, or can you only back straight up?

Expert Reply:

With weight distribution systems you can back up and turn slightly, but you really don't want to get into too tight of a turn as that puts quite a bit of strain on the system. If you were to need to really jackknife the trailer you would want to remove the bars.
