Fitment & Compatibility of Aluminum Lynx Trailer Wheel w/4.80-12 Load Range B Tire
Question:
I would like to replace my current steel 12inch trailer wheels with the HWT Aluminum wheels. My current wheels are 12inch with 5 lugs on 4 1/2inch center. The center pilot hole is 3 3/16. I am not able to measure the actual inside width of the rim without removing the tire. However, currently the mounted tires are 4.80 x 12 2ply Nylon-load range B. Will this size tire fit correctly on the Lionshead aluminum wheel? I believe you list the aluminum wheel as 4inch in width. Thankyou.

Great news! The 4.80-12 sized tire fits a 4 inch rim, so your tire will fit the Aluminum Lynx Trailer Wheel # LH45FR you were looking at.
Upgrading your wheel will not increase your Load Range B capacity of 785lbs at 60 psi, but they will be a nice, upgraded look.
I have linked the Lynx Aluminum Wheel to this page for your convenience.
