Troubleshooting Taillights on 1997 Terry 5th Wheel
Question:
I havevab97 fifth wheel trailer . All the lights work except the left blinker. Thought it was the wiring on the truck but had a friend hook his truck up to the plugbstill no blinker. What could be the problem.

Good thinking testing the trailer with somebody else's truck. Since you've essentially eliminated the tow vehicle as being the problem, you can concentrate on the trailer wiring as being the problem. Beginning at the trailer connector, you'll need to trace the left turn signal circuit from the connector back to the lamp. This wire should be yellow in color, and you'll need to trace it back too the left hand taillight, looking for loose connections. Once you find the loose connection, repair it and you should be good to go. I'll link you to our trailer wiring troubleshooting article, I hope you'll find it helpful.
