Upgrading from 1,200 lb Tongue Weight Fastway Weight Distribution to 1,400 lb Equalizer
Question:
I have the Fastway e2 WD system rated for 12,000 lbs/1,200 lbs. FA92-00-1200 Can I increase the rating to 14,000 lbs/1,400 lbs. by replacing the trunnion bars with those found on the Equal-i-zer 14,000 lbs/1,400 lbs. system? EQ37140ET

Expert Reply:
Your best solution is going to be to go with the part # EQ37141ET. This is the # EQ37140ET but without the shank since you already have one. The head of your old system is not the same as the # EQ37140ET so new bars would not fit it. By the time you would piece together everything you would end up spending more than just ordering the part # EQ3714ET.
