When a trailer jack has to do more work it will draw more power. If it draws excessive power then the fuse will blow. Something is causing the motor to draw excessive power. If the weight of the trailer has not changed then it could be a wiring problem. Check for damaged or pinched wires that may be shorting out.

Also have the battery tested to see if it needs charged or replaced. The motor might be trying to draw every ounce of power from the battery if it is low.

Does everything work fine if you raise/lower the jacks manually? If it seems abnormal then it very well could be a gear box, gears in the legs, or the motor that is the problem. If the switch shorted out it could have damaged something else in the motor. We do have several replacement motors depending on what you have now on your trailer, see link.
