What Truck Bed Bike Rack is Recommended for a 2015 Ford F-150

Question:

I have a 2015 Ford F-150 SuperCrew with a 5 1/2-foot bed/bedliner. Trying to decide between two truck bed bike racks: Swagman Patrol 2 Bike Rack for Truck Beds - Fork Mount Thule Bed-Rider 2 Bike Rack for Truck Beds - Fork Mount - Aluminum I will be carrying two mountain bikes and sometimes three. Important that both the rack and the bikes lock, as Id like to be able to leave the bikes unattended on occasion going in to restaurant while traveling. Please advise if either of these products is preferable, or if you have another recommendation based on my input. Thanks.

I recommend the Thule Bed-Rider 2 Bike Rack # TH822XTR, it is confirmed to fit on your 2015 Ford F-150 by Thule. This way if you are needing to carry an extra bike, you can carry it using the Thule 1 Bike Add-On # THBRLB2. The Swagman can only carry up to 2 bikes at a time, so this is why I recommend the Thule Bed-Rider. The Bed-Rider requires the bikes you are carrying to have 9-mm quick-release front-wheel-skewers.

The Bed-Rider has a one-key system lock to secure your bikes to the rack and the rack to your truck bed. Also, bikes can be secured with cable lock # TH538XT using the integrated pass-through holes on the rack. The Swagman Patrol 2 Bike Rack # S64701 is confirmed to work with your truck but can only hold up to two bikes.
