Will Roadmaster BrakeMaster Supplemental Braking System Fit a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk
Question:
Will this system work with 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk?

Expert Reply:
Yes, you can use the Roadmaster BrakeMaster supplemental braking system # RM-9160 with your 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. To use this system the Jeep will also need the seat adapter # RM-88307 as well as stop light switch kit # RM-751471.
The # RM-88400 relay is also required to prevent the towed vehicle's turn signal from overriding the signal from the RV if your towed vehicle is wired with a standard 4-diode kit. If you use a lighting kit that bypasses the vehicle wiring, such as a magnetic kit # RM-2120 then you will not need this relay.
I have included a couple of helpful links on flat towing for you as well.
If your Cherokee has 4 wheel drive or the Active Drive II system, to maintain the vehicle's stable steering while being flat towed you will want to install the Mopar accessory kit 68321424AB, available from your Jeep dealer. This kit will prevent the Cherokee's steering from shaking while being flat towed.
