On the Brophy 1 1/4 hitch extender, 6, number hes6, what is the length from the hitch pin hole to where the shafts diameter increases?

I contacted our representative at Brophy and he informed me that from the center of the hitch pin hole to where the shafts diameter increases on Hitch Extender, part # hes6, is 3 inches. He also said that there is a bead of weld where the diameter starts to increase and that the distance from the center of hitch pin hole to beginning of weld bead is 2-5/8 inches.
