Will Swagman Pick-Up Fit 2005 Toyota Tacoma with Factory Cargo Management Rails and Bed Liner

I have a 2005 Toyota Tacoma that has a bed liner and the rails with the sliding tie down brackets..will the Swagman pickup truck bed 2 bike carrier work? Will it fit on the rail or the side of the truck?

The Swagman Pick-Up Truck-Bed-Mounted 2 bike Carrier # S64702 is listed as a fit for the 2005 Toyota Tacoma with the Cargo Management Rails. We had the opportunity to install this rack on a 2014 Tundra that has the factory rail system and found the rack fit well. I've attached the installation video of this # S64702 rack on the Tundra for you.

This rack is designed to install on the top and the inside of the truck bed side rails. This can be seen in the liked installation video.

If the bed liner interferes with a secure connection for the Pick-Up rack, the installation instructions have special mounting instructions for a bed liner. You can drill a 9/32 inch hole in the bed liner and use end-plate pins on the end pads to secure the rack so that the pins go into the holes in the liner.
