Transmission Cooler for 2003 Pontiac Vibe

Question:

Im having trouble finding out which tranny oil cooler would work with my 2003 pontiac vibe as your wizard doesnt allow me to choose my vehicle for the cooler...Is it just due to the radiator adapter fitting size or something else? Im under the impression I can just fit the oil cooler hose over the existing radiator outlet fitting once the transmission line is disconnected. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

When we set up the fit guides for the transmission coolers, we attempted to cover the most popular vehicles that would use a cooler.

For your Vibe, the Derale Series 8000 Class II Transmission Cooler, part # D13501 would be your best choice. You want to install the aftermarket cooler so that the transmission fluid flows from the transmission to the OEM cooler to the aftermarket cooler back to the transmission.

We have an installation video that will give you an idea of how the install process works. The video shows the cooler being installed on on a 2006 Honda CR-V, but the process would be similar to your vehicle.
