How to Determine if RockyMounts TieRod Roof Bike Carrier # RKY1012 Would Allow Hatch to Open

Question:

I have a 2013 Ford Focus Hatchback and I would like to know if the wheel tray will interfere with the opening of the hatch. I currently have the RhinoRack Vortex installed. Thank you.

The RockyMounts TieRod Roof Mounted Bike Carrier # RKY1012 could be installed backwards if needed to allow the rear hatch of your 2013 Ford Focus to open, but the overall length of the tray is 52-1/2 inches.

You would need to measure from the front of your front crossbar back that distance to see where the tray would end up and if it would cause hatch interference.
