Can the Yakima HighRoad Bike Rack fit Factory Crossbars of a 2011 Lexus RX 350

Question:

I have a Lexus 2011, RX 350 and would like top purchase the the Yakima HighRoad Roof Bike Rack - Wheel Mount My questions are the following: 1. Does this rack place excessive strain on roadbike wheels? 2. I already have a roof rack bars, will this fit onto regular bars? 3. What additional equipment do I need to purchase locks, cables etc 4. Who services the warranty ? eTrailer or Yakima? 5. Your website shows that that this rack is available in May...would it make sense to wait a few months to see if there are any recalls with it - being that its a new product?

To install the Yakima HighRoad part # Y02114 on the factory bars of your 2011 Lexus RX350, you'll use the included straps.

As long as the size of your wheel is between 20 and 29 inches this rack would fit it and work well without strain. Us or Yakima can handle warranty claims.

This rack has been thoroughly tested so I would not anticipate any recall issues. Recalls are basically unheard of for Yakima products also.

For a lock core you would need the part # Y07202 as well.
