Will Reese Gooseneck Hitch for 5th Wheel Rails Fit Elite Series Adapter for Ford OEM Prep Package
Question:
will this adaptor also work for my gooseneck adaptor from reese I use , , It has the same holes for mounting as my 5th wheel I believe , we use the rails in the other truck and it works

It sounds like you have Reese gooseneck hitch for above the bed rails # RP58079. This hitch uses the inner most set of mounting slots on the rails. The adapter # RP30156 does not have the inner most set of holes so it will not work.
There is a special gooseneck hitch that fits directly into the puck system on the 2011 and newer Ford trucks with the factory 5th wheel prep package. It is # RP30845. With it you would not need the adapter.
The other option is to use the Reese adapter and the Curt Spyder, # 16085. This will still cost less than using the Elite Series model RP30845 directly in the pucks.
