Tube Step with Greater Clearance for Foot than OE Bars on 2016 Toyota 4Runner SR5

Question:

I removed Toyota 4 runner running boards because there was not enough clearance to put my foot perpidicular to set on the running board. I do not want the same problem if I purchase your running boards No drilling reqd ? Use existing holes by Toyota?

I have another option for you, but the Westin E-Series Round Nerf Bars, 3 Inch, Polished Stainless Steel # 23-3830 will be located in nearly the same spot as your OE Toyota steps. My contact at Westin confirmed that the location of the steps will be the same as the OE steps. The # 23-3830 steps do not require drilling and will install in factory holes to the rocker panel.

Another option is the Westin PRO TRAXX Oval Nerf Bars # 21-53830. These oval steps are also constructed from a polished stainless steel and they features top-mounted non-slip pads. The TRAXX will sit in the same spot as the OE bars, but these have a 5 inch wide step. The E-Series steps only have a 3 inch wide step.

Both of these tube steps are designed to fit the 2016 Toyota 4Runner SR5.
