Question:
i want to purchase a spare tire and wheel. my wheels now are 14x5.5inch with rainier st 205 /75R14 5-4.5. IS IT GOING TO WORK IF THE NEW RIM IS 14inch X 6inch OR SHOULD I KEEP LOOKING FOR THE 5.5 RIM?

The 1/2 inch difference in rim width would not matter. For a spare tire I would recommend the part # TA82MR as it is the same size tire you have of ST205/75R14, is a radial like your current tires, and has the matching bolt pattern wheel you need.
I attached a review video for this wheel and tire for you to check out as well.
