Suspension Enhancement Recommendation For a 2016 Ford F-150 Towing Fifth Wheel
Question:
I have a 2016 F 150 with the max tow package. I had Firestone air bags but had to remove them when I had a Reese 5th wheel hitch installed as their mounting kits were incompatible. The hitch weight of my 2016 Rockwall 8285 IKWS is just under 1200 lbs. GVWR is around 9000 lbs. To improve suspension do you recommend the Super Springs or the Timbrens Suspension Enhancement System or both? Thanks

Expert Reply:
I would recommend the Supersprings part # SSA28. The Timbrens work great but they tend to have a harsher ride quality when the truck is unloaded so for a vehicle with softer suspension like your 2016 Ford F-150 you would feel this much more.
The # SSA28 won't have the harshness and would work great so I would recommend it for you. It also will help act as an anti-sway bar which will help the truck handle better as well.
