Availability of Replacement Slider 18K Signature Series 5th Wheel RP30144 2015 F350 SD w/Short Bed

Question:

Can replacement rails be purchaced. I have a hitch that I believe the previous owner towed in the rearward position bending the rails downward.

Sounds like you are looking for the replacement slider legs to the 18K # RP30144. I spoke to my contact at the manufacturer. The slider part of the # RP30144 5th wheel hitch is no longer available separately. Your best bet is to replace the entire unit.

Since you will need to replace your unit one 5th wheel that may interest you is the Demco Hijacker 18K # DM8550024. I really like the Hijacker's AutoSlide technology because you never have to get in or out of your bed to adjust the hitch from towing to turning, it just automatically takes care of it for you. This unit has a lower price point and will require less effort.
