Compatibility of 30104 4-Pole to 6-Way Square Trailer Connector Adapter with Motorcycle Trailer

Question:

The 30104 says for Jayco only but will it work on a pull behind motorcycle trailer, with what appears to be the same square 6 wire plug?

Jayco used a proprietary plug on some of its trailers, which is what the # 30104 was designed for. Are you sure your trailer doesn't use a different square 6-pin connector, like part # 37995?

Since the 6 pin square trailer connector is pretty much obsolete at this point, it wouldn't be a bad idea to replace the connector with something more common. The # 30104 only provides the 4 lighting circuits to the trailer (ground, right turn/brake lamp, left turn/brake lamp and running lamps) so you might be better off removing the 6 pin connector an installing a 4 pole like # 18004.
