Where Should the Ventline Vanair Trailer Roof Vent Mount on a 2015 Palomino HS2910

Question:

Im looking for something similar to the vanair that I can mount on a wall. have a 2015 palomino hs2910 that has no vent at all in the bathroom and has a huge skylight letting in the sun. we boondock at the beach all summer and it get brutal in there. if mounting the unit on a wall is it possible to put a vent hood over it to keep out the elements? I really dont want to carve into the roof of a brand new truck camper.

You really wouldn't want to mount the # VP-543SP on the wall of a trailer. It would need to mount facing up otherwise it may let water in through the fan assembly. The best option would be through the roof as hot air rises and either way you would be cutting a hole in the trailer.

We recommend using a sealant like TremPro Silicone Sealant, part # 0160297, to help seal the trailer from the elements.
