What is the Distance Between the Wheel Hoops on the Swagman XTC Bike Rack

Hi, thanks for the informative site! We have a 2008 Subaru Outback Sport with a 1.25inch hitch and will need to transport a Lightning P-38 recumbent along with a standard road bike. The wheelbase on the Lightning is 42inch but the seat is 15inch wide. Whats the distance between the platforms on this rack and are they spaced enough apart that the Lightning will be able to share the rack with a traditional bike?

On the Swagman XTC bike rack # S64670 the wheel hoops are 10 inches apart on center. But that really isn't an issue with your recumbent bike with the wide seat. If you place the wheel hoops on the rail so that both of the ones for the recumbent are the outer-most hoops you could offset the two bikes if there is any interference with the seat!
