How to Pick Out Grease Cap for an Older Boat Trailer
Question:
I have an older boat trailer and the grease caps are missing and they appear to be tapered. I dont see any tapered listed. What are my options?

You will want to use a dial caliper or micrometer to measure the inner diameter of the hub you have on your trailer to determine what size cap would be needed. Check out the picture I attached that shows this measurement being taken on a hub. You will notice that the bore of the hub is tapered like yours.
