Recommended Dual-Hitch Receiver For 2000 Chevrolet Suburban

Question:

Is there a hitch mounted cargo system that can be adjusted up and down in hight so it doesnt drag going through deep dips in the road or driveways? Perhaps a system based on two receivers to allow you to use the main receiver to tow something at the same time?

We do have a dual hitch receiver that may work for you.

I recommend the Curt 8-Inch Dual Purpose Ball Mount, part # D-192. This dual 2-inch ball mount lets you use the bottom receiver for towing a trailer and also use the top receiver for carrying an accessory like a cargo basket or a bike rack. Using this receiver will reduce the hitch carrying capacity and tongue weight capacity by 50 percent.

One cargo carrier you may want to check out is part # C18100. This is an aluminum cargo carrier that measures 19 x 60 inches. This carrier only weighs 29 lbs.
