Trailer Running Lights Stopped Working After Short Circuit when Connected to a 2011 Nissan Frontier
Question:
Was trouble shooting some tail light issues when I accidentally shorted out a tail light on the trailer. Now my tai lights on the truck still work but I only have turn and brake lights on the trailer. No tail lights. I can not find a individual fuse for the trailer tow in the fuse box. there is a group of three of a different type of fuse with the middle one saying trailer tow. These three fuses are all in the same light brown plastic housing with a clear plastic cover on top. The truck I Have is a 2011 Nissan Frontier with factory tow package. My Nissan dealer is an hour away and its Sunday. Any help?

The tow package wiring on your 2011 Nissan Frontier uses both fuses and relays. You could have blown a fuse or a relay though it seems more likely that a fuse would blow before a relay went bad.
There is also more than one fuse panel in the truck. The second panel is located in the cab next to the glove box (it looks like you have to open the glove box to access it). Use the legend on the fuse box lids to find the tow package fuse/relays locations.
The trailer running light relay is a smaller blue one # C57000. The easiest way to test for a bad relay is to use a known good one in its place.
