The Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Leveling System # LC358590 uses Hall-Effect type motors along with a single level sensor. The motors basically count the revolutions in each of the four jacks to keep track of the trailer's position. The sensor unit itself is shown in the linked photo.
In use you'll unhitch your truck after raising the front of the trailer; then simply press the auto-level button to let the system level the trailer.
