Weight Distribution or Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for 2015 Ram 1500 Sagging While Towing

Question:

My Travel Trailer has a tongue weight of 944lbs. Yes I know, I am close to the maximum. I can see that my headlights are slightly elevated. Will the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System - TDR1500DQ, get me level?

The Timbren kit part # TDR1500DQ will provide you with rear suspension support that will allow your truck to level itself out better while towing. Your headlights wouldn't point up as high.

That being said your best solution is going to be a weight distribution system properly rated for your setup. This levels the tow vehicle by partially distributing the tongue weight of the trailer to the front axle of the truck to also improve handling and braking. If you have a setup currently rated for 1,000 lbs it's maxed out and that is why your are getting sag.

The Strait Line system part # RP66084 would be perfect for you. It has a tongue weight range of 600-1,200 lbs and features sway control that works to fight sway before it starts.
