Cargo Carrier Recommendation for RV for Carrying Honda 3000i Generator

Question:

Im looking for a carrier to use for hauling my generatorand other items behind my 5 wheel trailer. Ive got a Honda 3000i generator, not sure how much it weights thou. I would like the carrier to fold up when not being used. Which carrier will hold the generator? I have a custom welded hitch mounted straight to the frame of the trailer if that help making the decision.

You can use Curt trailer hitch mount cargo carrier # C18152 on the back of your RV to carry your generator. You will want to avoid models that fold up because folding models have additional points of movements that could possibly fail due to the increased stress associated with being at the back of an RV. The ride quality at the rear of an RV is much rougher than a passenger vehicle due to the increased distance from the rear axle to the rear of the vehicle.

I looked up the weight of your generator and it comes in at 78 lbs which would be way under the weight capacity of the Curt cargo carrier as it has a 500 lb capacity.
