Will Thule 3 Bike Carrier And Swagman Trailhead 3 Fit A 2004 Honda CR-V

Question:

Will both the Thule Helium Aluminum 3 Bike Carrier, # TH9043 and the Swagman Trailhead 3, # S63365 work on my 04 CR-V? Ive already installed the Curt 13535 hitch. I have a full-sized spare mounted on the tailgate and I need to know if these racks will have enough clearance for this hitch on this model year. Thank you.

To determine if the Thule Helium Aero 3 Bike Carrier, # TH9043PRO, and the Swagman Trailhead 3, # S63365, will fit on your 2004 Honda CR-V and clear the spare tire you will need to take a measurement on your vehicle. You will need to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole to the farthest back part of your spare tire.

The Thule Helium Arero 3 Bike Carrier, # TH9043PRO, has a center of the hitch pin hole to upright bar measurement of 14-3/8 inches. If the measurement you got on your vehicle is less than 12 inches then it will fit on your vehicle.

The Swagman Trailhead 3, # S63365, has a center of the hitch pin hole to upright bar measurement of 9-1/2 inches. If the measurement on your vehicle is less than 9-1/2 inches then it will fit your vehicle.

If you are going to be transporting any womens or childrens bikes that do not have the horizontal bar at the top of the frame, you will want to use the SportRack Bike Adapter Bar, # SR0500. It attaches to the center seat post and to the handlebar post and provides a horizontal bar, so the bike can ride level on the bike rack.
