Will a Set of Timbrens Installed in a Truck Cause Weight Distribution System to Be Set Up Different

Question:

I already have a 1200lb WD hitch set-up on my Class IV receiver that has been leveled to handle the load of my Coachmen 321FEDSLE approx 10K lbs fully loaded travel trailer with 1071lb tongue weight. If I install this product, will I have to re-level my WD Hitch set-up? 2015 Dodge RAM 1500 Crew Cab 4X2 Big Horn Edition

If you install a set of Timbrens on your 2015 Ram 1500 you will end up having to lighten up slightly on the spring bar tension. The reason is because the suspension will now be reinforced slightly which means the WD system wouldn't need to apply as much spring bar tension to level the setup.

In most cases a properly rated and set up WD system will not require additional suspension enhancement. But you could also be wanting the Timbrens for heavy cargo in the bed of your truck and not for towing at all.
