Swagman Chinook Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2014 Volkswagon Passat
Question:
Filtering the list to Hitch racks for a Volkswagon Passat 2014 reveals some very nice options but the Swagman Chinook which seems brand new is not listed. Is that a good choice for this vehicle? It seems to have a great combination of built in features and a good price.

The Swagman Chinook part # S64683 would be an excellent choice for a hitch bike rack for your 2014 Volkswagen Passat. The list you mentioned is compiled by popularity with our customers. This rack is so new that it hasn't had enough time to gain any traction there. This is a great bike rack though that we would recommend for you.
You will need a trailer hitch for the rack to install. For that you would want the part # 24880 as it is a confirmed fit and would work great with the Chinook.
