Compatibility of Lippert Never Fail Tandem Axle Suspension Upgrade Hardware Kit LC281285
Question:
I am looking at a suspension rebuild kit. Code: LC281285. I just want to make sure it is what I need. I was told from the manufacturer I need 11/16 x 1.75 bushings and 9/16 x 3.5 bolts. The only difference I see is that the bolts are 1/4inch shorter and the bushings are 1/8inch shorter. I need to have all of my parts ready to go because I am paying for dry rack storage for a weekend so that I can do this rebuild.

The Lippert Never Fail Tandem Axle Suspension Upgrade Hardware Kit # LC281285 includes the Never Fail bushings that are offered in only one size: 9/16 I.D., 11/16 O.D. and 1-5/8-inch overall length.
These are the part of the kit that really provides the upgrade, so if your existing shackle bolts and shackle links are still in good shape, you can re-use them and simply add the upgraded bushings.
We offer the bushings in a 14-piece set as part # LC279685.
All of our 9/16-inch shackle bolts are the 3-inch length.
