Does The Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly Come Assembled Greased and Ready to Install
Question:
UPS is supposed to deliver 3 of these hubs today. Its my understanding that they are ready for installation on the spindle, i.e., greased and assembled bearings with seal, etc. Can you clarify/verify the correctness of my understanding?

The Trailer Hub & Drum Assembly, part # 84556UC3, comes dry and not greased or assembled with bearings installed. The races are already installed, but you will need to grease the bearings and install them into the hub. The assembly does not come assembled and greased because dirt would be able to get into the bearings from the exposed open side and your bearings could be ruined.
I have linked a video below that may be a good reference to take apart and assemble your new hub and drum assembly, part # 84556UC3, on your trailer.
