There are a couple differences between the Hopkins part # HM60195VA and the # HM50002.

The # HM60195VA has a 2-1/2 inch LCD monitor, while the # HM50002 has a 3-1/2 inch monitor.

The # HM50002 also has Hitch Mode and Everyday Mode options. Hitch Mode is used when you are wanting to hook up a trailer by displaying horizontal colored lines that show you how close the trailer is to the hitch ball. In Everyday Mode the display changes to a grid that shows the distance of objects behind your vehicle. This mode would be great when backing into a parking spot.

In my opinion I would choose the # HM50002 because it has a larger monitor and also has the Everyday Mode.
