How to Pick Out a Sidewinder Pin Box for a 2016 Open Range 345 ELS

Trying to determine which model of the Sidewinder Hitch will be best with a 2016 Open Range 345ELS trailer. The trailer will connect to a 2016 GMC 2500 short bed truck

On that white sticker you have on your pin box should be the information needed to identify what pin box you have so that we can pick out the correct Sidewinder. From my research it looks like your trailer SHOULD have a Lippert 1716 pin box and that would mean you would need the # RP61412.

The other likely scenario is that you have a 1621 Lippert box which would indicate you would need the part # RP34FR.

If you contact Open Range with your VIN they will also be able to tell you which pin box you have as well.
