Does Adding a Cargo Carrier to the Rear of a Trailer Decrease the Tongue Weight
Question:
I added a cargo carrier to the back of my travel trailer. How much does it affect my tongue weight? Is it pound for pound? Is the weight added to the back taken off the tongue?

There won't be a pound for pound exchange because the coupler on the trailer is further from the fulcrum (trailer axles) than the rear of the trailer. The only way to know for sure if adding the cargo carrier to the rear had an impact on the tongue weight is to measure the tongue weight.
You could use a tongue weight scale, # e99044. Or you could follow one of the other methods in the help article I linked for you.
