How Does Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly TVXL2 Perform on Gravel Surface

Question:

You never mention how it performs on a gravel surface. I have great concern that my 1/4 inch gravel packed yard will act like ball bearings beneath the Valets 9 inch wheels? Have you actually tested it on packed gravel and reviewed the results?

I had an opportunity about two weeks back to watch our video team testing this dolly out on our lot. The surfaces where this was demonstrated included a concrete ramp as well as loose/lightly-packed gravel. This dolly had no trouble getting and keeping traction on the gravel surface.

Keep in mind that your trailer tongue weight (TW) will tend to keep the tires biting the surface. Also, other conditions, like the presence of water on the gravel, may affect how well it can dig in.
