Parts Needed to Install Wireless Portable Braking System in 2012 Jeep Wrangler
Question:
Looking at upgrading to the Roadmaster Even Brake 9400 for my 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sport. I have already wired a separate set of tow lights that work great and have been using the NSA mechanical brake system up to now. Does the 9400 simply need the ICX module wired into the fuse block on my Wrangler and the breakaway switch mounted and plugged in? I am really asking whether or I would need to get into any additional tow vehicle or Wrangler wiring to set this up.

If you are looking to upgrade to an easier-to-use wireless supplemental braking system then I suggest you consider the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR. Like the Even Brake # RM-9400, the Patriot provides portability and wireless operation in a USA-made braking device, but the Patriot is significantly lower in cost and carries the same 1-year warranty.
The Patriot includes a breakaway switch and lanyard and requires no other wiring for installation other than a 12V outlet kit # RM-9332. If you prefer the Even Brake you'll install it in the same way as the Patriot.
An installation video is linked for you.
