Is Towing Capacity Reduced when Using Furthest Hitch Pin Hole on Adjustable Ball Mount AM3461
Question:
The AM3461 has 2 hitch pin holes. I think the first hole may have the hitch too close to my bumper. Can i use either pin hole without diminishing the towing capacity? Let me know. Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can use either hitch pin hole in adjustable ball mount # AM3461 without losing any capacity. With this ball mount the 2 inch ball is rated for 8,000 pounds and the 2-5/16 inch ball is rated for 10,000 pounds.
