What Material Is Used For Fittings On Demco Hydraulic Brake Hose

Can you tell me if the fittings on this brake line are stainless steel or something else?

I called my contact at Demco and they told me that the fittings that are used on all of their brake line and hose products like the Hydraulic Brake Hose, part # DM05982 are made of an E-coat Steel.
When I asked what E-coating is they said it is a coating process similar to galvanizing.
