Distance Between Mounting Holes on the Square Corner Hinge with Reverse Bracket PLR2216-SSP
Question:
I just wanted to make sure this hinge matched up to the pre existing holes on our trailer. the square mount the would bolt on the the frame of the trailer has the holes 3 1/4inch apart. The strap is 2inch wide, 16inch long. From the outside edge of the hinge the first hole is 8inch in on the hinge. The second hole is 7 1/2inch from center of first hole to second hole. The width of the mounting holes on the hinge of the # PLR2216-SSP are 3-1/4 inches like yours.
The 3 holes on the strap are separated by 5-5/8 inches on center between all three of them. It looks like you would need to redrill the holes of your trailer door to get this to fit, but aside from that it would work just fine.
