How Is a Fish Wire Used to Install Hardware for Nerf Bars on a 2016 Ram
Question:
Hi, Im about to install some 3inch nerf bars on 2016 Dodge RAM Diesel crew cab, whats up with the fish wire? Little confusing.

Fish wiring is a pretty cool way to get bolts up into places that are too tight to fit your hands into. It basically involves threading the wire through the hole where the bolt needs to go with the coiled end going in first, attaching the bolt and block where the wire comes out of an open frame channel and then pulling it back through. There are a couple other variations as well.
