Recommended RV 2-Bike Rack for 2005 Dodge Durango Towing a 2015 Forest River Rockwood Minilite 2104S
Question:
I am interested in a recommendation for carrying 2 adult bikes, 1 male and 1 female on my current setup. I tow with a 2005 dodge durango 5.7 hemi with wd and sway hitch. My trailer is a 2015 forest river rockwood minilite 2104s. It has dual 30lb tanks with hard cover and removeable top access panel. Will an a frame mount work on this and if so what do you recommend? Is there a bike rack that you recommemd that would allow me to still use the hatch back when bikes are off? Additional question may the bikes be locked to the rack on the one you recommend?

I can help you find a bike rack that will suit your needs for your 2005 Dodge Durango and 2015 Forest River Rockwood Minilite 2104s.
I was able to look up your RV and noticed you have quite a few options when it comes to bike racks.
Since you are interested in a frame mount like # CC-275, you would want to measure your frame to be sure this bike rack would have the clearance over your propane tank covers and that the brackets will fit around your frame dimension. This rack fits A-frames 14 - 55 inches wide. The distance from top of A-frame trailer to top of cross tube is 33-1/2 inches and the mounting bracket dimensions are 8 inches tall x 4-3/4 inches wide x 2 inches deep.
We also offer ladder style # SP501BR or bumper style bike racks like # S80501 if your Forest River Rockwood is equipped with these options. These would best secure to your RV with a cable lock like mentioned above.
I have linked all the products mentioned above as well as a link to all of our RV approved bike racks for your convenience.
