Can Longer Strap Be Used on the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top Trunk Mount Bike Rack

Question:

Hi, I bought the Hollywood Racks over the top 3 Bike Rack for my Rav4 2016, HRF2-3, when i hang my daughters bike, the Rubber Straps Chain is too short, do you sale a rubber straps chain longer?

Based on the replacement straps we have available the Yakima straps # 8890221 would be the best option though they are not tested for use on the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top rack # HRF2-3. This strap is 9 inches long with 1/2 inch diameter holes.

Another option is to supplement the rubber straps with hook and loop straps such as # SR54FR. These straps are 16 inches long overall.

And a third option and what I recommend is to use an adapter bar, # 64005, with your daughter's bike so that the straps can go around the adapter bar instead of the bike frame.
