Will the Thule TH914XT Fit on a 2009 Toyota Rav4 with Rear Door Mounted Spare Tire
Question:
Is the Thule 934XTR rack compatible with a 2009 Toyota Rav4? Im concerned that the rack/hitch combination may not clear the spare tire on the rear door. Thanks!

The Thule Hitching Post Pro 4 Bike Carrier for 1-1/4 inch and 2 inch Hitches, item # TH934XTR, has 11-7/8 inches clearance between the center ofthe hitch pin hole and the bike rack upright bar.
We did a hitch installation and video (see link) on a 2007 Toyota Rav4 and the measurement you need to take is taken at the end of the video. On the 2007 model only 7 inches or clearance are required for hitch mounted accessories, so the TH934XTR should work on your 2009 model but you should check to be sure before ordering.
