Trunk Mount Bike Rack Recommendations for 3 Bikes and a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder

Question:

Im looking for the best bike rack for a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder to hold 3 bikes, A mens, womans, and a youth bike. What would your recommendation be for the best rack. I really dont want to spend over $250.00. Also will there be any extra stuff to buy for it.

If your 2015 Nissan Pathfinder has that spoiler piece at the top of the rear hatch then there is only 1 trunk mount carrier that I recommend; the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top rack # HRF2-3. This rack has an additional upper arm piece that moves the top straps up and over that spoiler so no weight is put on it (since the spoiler is not meant to support weight). I have included a link to a video that shows how it works.

If the Pathfinder does not have that spoiler then I recommend the Thule OutWay # TH56BV. This rack features an integrated cable lock, advanced road-dampening technology, and integrated security locks. I have linked a video review of this rack as well.

For either rack, since you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would), I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
