Parts Needed to Install a Tekonsha P3 Prodigy on a 2002 Ford Explorer

Hi, If I install the Prodigy P3 in a 2002 Ford Explorer with the tow package using the Prodigy harness do I need to add a circuit breaker? Thx,

If you have a factory 7-Way, you should be able to use part # 3035-P. This is the vehicle specific wiring harness for your Explorer. It will plug into the brake controller port under the dash and you will not need to add another breaker as Ford already did the proper wiring.

If you have a 7-Way and already have the P3 and you just need the harness, you can use part # 3035-P. Again no additional breaker needed.

If you do not have the factory 7-Way, write back and let me know what trailer connector you do have and we can find the parts needed from there.
