To choose the correct weight distribution shank, you will still want to subtract your coupler's height from your trailer's receiver height, thank you for providing these measurements. For your truck and trailer set-up, you will want a shank that will allow you to have a drop of 7 inches. With your Reese trunnion bar system, I recommend using the Reese Weight Distribution Shank, Drop Only # RP3344.
The # RP3344 weight distribution shank will allow you to have 7-5/8 inches of drop or 6-3/8 inches of drop with your tunnion bar system. This shank is designed only to be used in the drop position. These drops are measured with a Reese weight distribution head and are accurate for your system. Adjusting the tension on the weight distribution bars and the angel of the head will allow either of these drops to work for you.
The Equal-I-zer Weight Distribution Shank # EQ90-02-4400 that you referenced will also fit your Reese weight distribution head. Keep in mind that the rise and drop measurements for this shank were found with an Equal-I-zer weight distribution head, so the actual rise/drop of a Reese head on this shank will be different than what is listed on the product page.
