Can a Demco Hijacker Auto-Slide Fifth Wheel Hitch be Used with a Reese Revolution Pin Box

Question:

Just bought a new Flagstaff 5th wheel that has a Reese Revolution on it. I have a 2014 f350 shortbed and have used a demco hijacker 18 k Auto Glide for last two years. What is the best way to proceed with this combo. Would like to pin/wedge Revolution and wedge hitch . Would this set up work safely, do they make a wedge to do this. Or will need to replace hitch or pin box? Thank you

You would have to lock out the Reese Revolution pin box to be able to use it with an auto-slide Demco Hijacker fifth wheel hitch.

You will first need to make sure the wedge at the bottom of the Sidewinder is removed so it can pivot at the hitch. Then you will look under the turret. There will be 2 bolts or just bolt holes. These holes are for two 3/4 inch grade 5 bolts and nuts and will prevent the turret from rotating. Take a look at the instructions I have linked on page 6 for more on the lock out feature.
