Can Stromberg Carlson 4000 Series 5th Wheel Louvered Tailgate Handle Heavy Weights When Lowered

I am concerned about the sturdiness of this plastic unit. I frequently slide a 20# propane cylinder in a plastic milk box in and out of the bed - and across the tailgate. Can this stand up to this. Also prone to sit on the tailgate. Any problems. 0

The Stromberg Carlson 4000 Series 5th Wheel Louvered Tailgate, part # VGD-10-4000 is confirmed as a fit for your 2015 Ram 2500.
It has a plastic blow molded frame and is very strong but it is not designed to be able to handle heavy weight like someone sitting on it or to place really heavy objects on it. Sliding propane cylinders across the tail gate will not be a problem.
